Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, maintenance and validation of custom Linux operating systems.
- Develop and maintain custom Linux Board Support Packages (BSPs).
- Design and maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions and build environments.
- Manage software build, release and deployment infrastructure using CI/CD tools.
- Work on Secure Boot, key management and TPM-based security solutions.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cybersecurity and application software teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues.
- Develop automated testing and validation pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong Linux experience.
- Hands-on experience with Yocto Project/OpenEmbedded.
- Experience with Linux BSP development and hardware integration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, Bash, Docker and Git.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD and build automation.
- Knowledge of software security and secure software development.
- Experience with Secure Boot, cryptographic key management and TPM-based security.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in robotics, industrial automation, embedded or safety-critical products.
- Knowledge of Linux networking and tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump and iproute2.
- Familiarity with IEC 62443 and industrial cybersecurity practices.
