What you'll do:
Manage and enhance our existing SaaS product: ship new features, improve what's there, and keep the platform stable and performant. Own the product's data pipelines — keep them reliable, extend them, and resolve issues as they come up. Improve architecture, code quality, and system health over time, balancing new work against technical debt. Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, from UI through API to database. Make pragmatic decisions that balance speed with long-term maintainability. Lead by example on code quality, and mentor other engineers as the team grows.
What you'll bring:
Strong full-stack experience. Our current stack is React, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, but we care more about depth and adaptability than an exact match. Comfort working with data pipelines and the data layer behind a product, not just the application code. Experience owning and evolving a live product, including with stability and maintenance. The ability to operate with ambiguity and own outcomes with specs.
Nice to have:
Experience integrating LLMs or agentic workflows into a product. Familiarity with AWS and cloud-deployed services. Client-or customer-facing experience within a solutions or consulting context.
